Crossway Church has been such a meaningful part of our journey since my wife and I recently moved to the USA. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness that made us feel at home. What stands out most is that the church is firmly rooted in sound biblical doctrine and remains committed to biblical truth without bending to shifting cultural pressures. In a time when many institutions feel influenced by social trends, Crossway stands firm in its convictions while still showing grace and love to everyone. The members reflect the compassion, humility, and sincerity that I believe Christ calls Christians to embody. We have never experienced such consistent kindness and authenticity in a church community. We’re truly grateful to have found Crossway.

My wife and I moved to Milwaukee as newly-weds and had a list of several churches to check out and Crossway was the first one we visited. Everyone was exceptionally welcoming and conversations felt like we had known these people our whole lives. We decided to not look at any other church after that first visit, knowing that we had found a strong, gospel center community to grow along side. The biggest thing I love about Crossway is their small group setup. It gives you an opportunity to have deeper, Christ-centered conversations and develop more personal relationships outside of regular church hours. I would highly recommend this church community to anyone of any age or social demographic. God bless. -Spencer O.

A few years ago when my wife and I were searching for a church in which to put down roots, we visited quite a few and circled back to CrossWay. What we found first and foremost was that the entire Word of God is believed and proclaimed. In addition to scriptually based sermons, the reminders of the Bible's unchanging truths are underscored in the saying of traditional creeds. The emphasis on committing to help each other grow in Christ, (being a disciple) is encouraging. Participating in a weekly small group has been a help in applying scripture to everyday life. We have a strong and gifted group of elders who are actively involved in caring for our church community. Maybe "family" is a more apt word. One other thing we really love about this family is the range of ages from young to old, with the expectation that all are gifted and all are needed. Last, but not least, is the very important approach to worship music. We love that CrossWay is focused on encouraging congregational singing rather than entertaining an audience. This is something we very much appreciate. We also love that many of the great and profound traditional hymns are included with the newer praise and worship songs. We feel very blessed that the Lord led us here to CrossWay.

After 40 years in Milwaukee,my husband's and my church home closed, and we ended up visiting 13 churches before settling on CrossWay in 2022. It was important that at 66 and 72 years of age, we wouldn't be the only "white hairs," yet we also wanted a vibrant community of young people. It was also important that the church had written faith and doctrine statements, had a clear sense of purpose, a calling to Milwaukee ( the Southside), and a plurality of elders ( now 6). We wanted a place we could serve in ( yes, even at our ages) and loved that most serving is on a once a month basis to avoid burnout and allow more people to be involved with their gifts. We wanted a place where Jesus is preached and His Word is taught clearly and honestly and where we are challenged in the Bible. Above all perhaps, we needed a place of worship- sometimes in silent reflection and communion, other times in confession and prayer, and in exuberance with contemporary songs as well as our old favorite hymns. We found all this at CrossWay and more. Now in our third year of small groups, we also enjoy our prayer nights, men's and women's fellowship times, and meals with the whole church. We love that our middle and high school youth also get together regularly besides the Sunday morning times for nursery thru 5th grade. If you're looking to know Jesus better and want to worship Him and grow in Him as part of a community, come visit us any Sunday at 10am at Alverno College where we are also committed to local and international missions. My husband and I have been members of CrossWay for nearly five years. From the very beginning, the church family has welcomed us with open arms and joyfully encouraged us in our faith journey. CrossWay offers many opportunities to serve, grow, and connect with fellow believers, making it a place where you truly feel part of the body of Christ.
