The food here is exceptional, albeit slightly on the salty side. A $320 bill felt reasonable, but the server completely forgot my $25 "beers for the kitchen" order—an unforgivable lapse in fine dining—so I capped the tip at 18%. That aside, Midwestern hospitality genuinely outshines the East Coast. My 20oz bone-in ribeye was phenomenal: a perfectly executed Maillard sear with a beautifully crispy crust. (And no stomach issues afterward, proving a steak doesn't need to be well-done to be safe). For dessert, the lime bar with fresh mulberries struck a perfect balance of sweetness. Meanwhile, I couldn't help but laugh at the next table diligently eating "healthy food." Give me glorious, high-calorie indulgence any day. Overall, a highly satisfying meal. However, the dining room is deafening. If you’re accustomed to the hushed, sophisticated murmurs of an East Coast establishment like Barclay Prime, be prepared to shout here; the loud ambiance isn't exactly elegant or lady-friendly in that regard. I might return if I find myself in Milwaukee for a third time, but for now, I’d rather explore other culinary options since steakhouses are ubiquitous. Besides, I'm completely over Wagyu—it’s only enjoyable for the first two bites before the sheer richness just ruins your appetite for anything else. 😂 Live fast, not die young, be wild, eat well and have fun.
