Quiches are always amazing and change with the week, which i love. The owner always knows exactly what is available and tells about each item that you ask about accordingly. Super great guy! I try to come here any time I'm in milwaukee. Great coffee and drinks too. All bakery is so good💗 The atmosphere is quaint and calming. Always a lovely time!

I was first introduced to Stephanie and Dave’s cozy bakery cafe by my friend Pat M. It reminded me of a another bakery located near Green Lake in Seattle. The clientele was diverse in both ethnicity and age and the offerings were just as diverse! The baked breads are fantastic, the soups, eclectic and delicious. The cookies are difficult to walk away from. My favorite is definitely the oatmeal- no, wait, maybe the molasses? If I stay to eat, I definitely try to sit at the community table. The sandwich offerings are fantastic- usually a bacon and greens as well as a vegetarian option. Saturday- you just may be lucky enough to score one of their chicken fennel pot pies!! I’m a huge fan and my only regret is that they are only open from 7 to 2 PM Thursday through Saturday. Get outside of your usual neighborhood and come to the near west side and visit this gem.

Charming little gem with good Anodyne coffee and scrumptious bakery. Just one thing I wish they would fix - please post bakery item prices. Otherwise, every single treat was absolutely delicious. I was seriously wowed. The owner (? I think) named everything I pointed to before giving them to me, but I don’t remember all the names. I have to go by what they look like. (Please post bakery item names along with the price!) (Oh and sorry for the bad picture - he looks mad in the picture, but he was actually just really nice and smiling most of the time. I didn’t realize until way later that he looks mad in the picture lol) The big puffy cinnamon sugary puff - totally the best thing I had here. Super soft inside and kinda crusty outside, perfectly sweet but not too much. The little mini chocolate croissant lookalike but denser looking things - good, but not necessarily what I’d come back here for. Blueberry scone textured rectangular thing - not airy, but dense, packed with flavor, very filling and delicious.

Fantastic cafe! Very unique and fun flavor combinations when it comes to the food and pastries. Wonderful ambiance. It’s the place to go for relaxed and tasty weekend morning coffee.
