Magical hidden gem! My kids loved The Lorax Truffula trees, Hello Little Owl library by the owl totem, Barnyard Dance music wall, and Mud Book sandbox kitchen. So creative, shady & interactive. Pure Northwoods storybook magic in Land O' Lakes! Loved!

This is a great place for younger children. Fun activities along with books to read that reflect each section. A nice pavilion is adjacent with picnic area and bathrooms. No cost to use the area but a donation box is at Storybook Gardens if you'd like to help them maintain it.

Such a great place for kids! My kids loved the mud kitchen, sand area, small play house and bridge, and digging in dirt in the “vegetable garden”! I could go on and on. Such an adorable place. Lots of shade. Restrooms and picnic shelter right next to it. We will definitely be back!!

Stumbled upon this Children's Park when we were in the area looking for things to do. Wish we would have known about this place earlier, as we would have visited. Mostly shaded (someone was thinking), story themed interactive park based on books for children. Many of the books were in the park, and you can read them to your kids (or have your kids read them) as you play within the park. Took our school-age children here, and I would definitely say they had fun, however the park is geared more towards toddlers through Elementary. My almost middle schooler did enjoy it for a little bit, but couldn't interact with some of the activities just because of how big he was and he wanted to be respectful. I could see family spending anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours at this park. The park itself isn't huge, maybe an acre, but there's many activities and books to read. Storybook Gardens appears to be part of a larger park, with baseball diamonds, Community garden, etc. There is lots of parking within a gravel parking lot. Also bathrooms as well are available within the larger park. Neat place, would recommend checking out if you have some time. Very cool park for someone to put together in the area!

It's a fun place for anyone, but especially kids. It has lots of fun life-sized popular storybooks things. I would highly recommend it!
