Quiet place to walk around and reflect on the 9/11 tragedy. When your done you can walk next door and eat icecream or drink coffee.

Wonderful memorial. It was hard to see the steel from the world trade center. It brought me right back to that day but its a great reminder. The information is well laid out and it made for a great, short scouting trip.

There is a sign along Hwy 41 pointing out the exit for the 9/11 Memorial and Educational Center. Once you exit the Hwy, there are no other signs. It was difficult for me to find. It is about 10 miles from the highway to the Memorial. It is located in the city of Kewaskum. I deducted one star for the lack of directional or miles signs. Once you find the Memorial, it is very moving and beautiful. There is part of an actual girder from the Twin Towers, and maps that describe the planes which were hijacked to attack the Towers, and the Pentagon. People from across America donated money for memorial bricks. It was very moving to read the many inscriptions on the bricks. I could not find the Educational Center. Perhaps they have not built it yet?
