No sidewalk for the soccer kids who walk. No crosswalk. Dangerous to get to. Must get dropped off by car. Summer '24 while Edgewood road is a detour for HWY 45, it's almost impossible to cross.

I love this park! It has a fun playground for kids to play on but the best part was walking a little into the forest and finding a beautiful hidden pond with ducks swimming and pretty nature. The walking spaces could use a little maintenance with weeds but other than that it's a very nice little park that's walking distance from my place

As a local and a person who's grown up here, this area was a fun get away where I could go into the forest and find the "hidden lake" and just sit down and read a good book to escape from school or when my house became a bit too much. It's said to see the forest gone, especially as a replacement for soccer fields that we already have. The last time I checked, only three or four big teams would even have tournaments (which is the reason I've heard they made this park for), all of which being a decent distance away. And for the kids? Sure, there might be more teams, but people have resorted to parking in the road due to the lack of parking space. Yes, those cones are up now, but that just means they park in front of our houses, which is not the most ideal. At least I can walk a little less to go practice if I want now, I guess. Other than all of that, it's a decent area, despite the amount of weeds growing there and how muddy the trails and ground gets when it rains.

Great park with soccer fields, playground equipment and 1/4 mile walking trail around a pond. Excellent addition to the community.

What an awesome fireworks display again this year. COVID-19 has been a real downer. It was so nice seeing and hearing families enjoying the outdoors together...What an uplifting event.
