Ice Age Trail - Kewaskum Segment is a hiking area in Kewaskum with marked trails, offering different levels of difficulty for hikers. Our segments feature a Yellow trail that may be muddy in spots after wet weather, providing varied terrain. We provide resources for planning hikes, including information on trail conditions, thru-hiker resources, and itineraries for day hikes, backpacking, or camping. Our organization coordinates events like the Mammoth Hike Challenge and Trailtessa Retreats for women, alongside volunteer opportunities for building and maintaining trail segments.

I’ve been hiking the Kewaskum segment of the ice age trail for years and it is honestly my favorite trail to hike. It has different colored trails with different levels of difficulty, and is well kept from years of people walking it. It’s a beautiful place with amazing views of the rolling hills and relaxing bird song. But best of all, it’s quiet and peaceful.

I have been bringing my nephews (5 and 7yrs) everyday during these cooped up times. We have found 3 geocache and the boys are excited every time we take a different way through the trails. They have been picking up trash along the way and love learning about fungus, local critters and exploring fallen trees and stumps in hope of finding other hidden treasures and stamps! Yellow trail can be slightly muddy in a few spots after wet days. The boys always have a hard time getting past the wind in the field at the entrance but they do great once they hit the woods.

Awesome trial watch out for ticks there rampant in one day got 7 and I got lost out there so folks enjoy
