Local bar with a classic throwback atmosphere

This past Saturday afternoon 5/9. Husband and I walked in sat the bar. The bartender did not greet us in any way shape or form. She stood in front of us and waited for us to tell her what we wanted, we tell her, she gave us our beers, took our money and never said a word, not one single word! No thank you, no how ya doing? Nothing! Super weird! And Uncomfortable.

Cool kind of a throwback bar that makes you think of the local tavern you went to years ago only with a little updating. The jukebox and amenities are modernized but the whole old style corner bar feel is there. When's the last time you sat down had a beer and could buy a paper cup of hot bar nuts? The bar back and counters remind you of the 60s bar your parents took you with them to on Saturday night. The people are mostly regulars but friendly and you blend in pretty quickly with a mix of conversations banging bar dice and rounds of drinks. Bartender was very friendly and pours a damn good drink. The food is just a few bar staples at the time.
Not sure if this is the same owners of this bar but, I did enjoy their hospitality leading up to Rain Days. I haven't been there in almost 15 years. The home-cooked meals for lunch were spectacular!
