Rooms and suites across three renovated properties in Kent
Rented the Victorian for the weekend and I can’t say enough about how delighted all of us were with the rooms and amenities. The location in the heart of Kent meant that shops, galleries and restaurants were a short walk away. If there are enough of you to make a full house rental practical that is the way to go making the public rooms exclusively yours.
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at The Firefly Inn for 2 nights whilst we attended a wedding nearby this weekend and I couldn't recommend this lovely inn more. Keli, our host, was so lovely and welcoming. There is a beautiful communal space downstairs that looks straight from a magazine, we had a lovely time relaxing and reading in the sitting room and outside in the gardens - we were even lucky enough to see a mama bear and her 2 cubs (from a safe distance!). The rooms are spacious, elegant and very clean. The complimentary snacks and drinks were very appreciated - especially as we had travelled from England so we were up early and it was lovely to have granola, yoghurt and fruit available at all times. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this inn to anyone.
I stayed in The Victorian while in town for a wedding. I was upgraded to a beautiful suite with a private deck. Everything was top tier, from the linens to the bathroom even the fur rug on the floor. I had a wonderful stay, and would like to return.
I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay at the Firefly Inn. It was an experience that felt both welcoming and thoughtfully designed from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Keli, who kindly gave me a tour of the property and made sure I knew exactly who to reach out to for anything I might need, whether it was extra towels, housekeeping, or any additional requests. One of the standout features is the 24/7 snack and drink area, which adds a layer of comfort and convenience. The inn also offers inviting common spaces that are perfect for studying, hosting meetings, or simply relaxing with friends. The rooms themselves are exceptionally spacious, complete with well-designed closets that provide ample storage, along with extra shelving in the bathroom for added organization. The location is another highlight. It’s perfectly walkable, with easy access to a variety of charming shops, bookstores, and restaurants. A personal favorite of mine was the Villager Restaurant, which I found myself returning to more than once. Overall, the Firefly Inn strikes a perfect balance between comfort, quality, and convenience. Whether for a short visit or an extended stay, its exceptional service and inviting atmosphere make it a truly memorable place worth experiencing.
The Garden Cottages are a hidden gem that everyone needs to know about! I recently stayed in the Little House with my 16 lb dachshund who also very much enjoyed her stay. It has everything you need--an indoor and outdoor fireplace, coffee and tea with plenty of flavors, a comfortable bed PLUS it's in the perfect location to all the delicious restaurants. Kent is a small town but it's a must visit and I highly recommend a stay at The Kent Collection.
