The food was outstanding! French onion soup was out of the world, liver pate’ was awesome and the sauerbraten was absolutely amazing. Service was on point and I loved the atmosphere. I will make it a point to come back here every time I come up to SE Wisconsin!

Fantastic food! My mom LOVED the prime rib (cooked just right) and it was enormous (regular size shown in pic). Soup, salad, parmesan chicken, potatoes and all the bread they give you were so tasty! It was Mother's Day and thus very crowded, but the "inside" area had a quiet, dimly lit vibe I loved. The "extension" to the dining room has large windows but was very loud. Highly recommend overall!

A great place, food is top quality, service is friendly and great. It's a place very unique to the area and you better make a reservation because it gets packed quick! And with good reason.

We celebrated a 40th birthday with a party of 10 with ages from 3 to 67. Everyone was very happy during the whole meal. 4 of us had roasted pork shank, one had beef stroganoff , and one had chicken Oskar . Those were the stars but everyone was pleased with their choice, including the kids. I’m glad we made reservations, the restaurant was packed within 30 minutes of opening at 4:00 on a Saturday. Service was top notch and they even had the kids pick a gift from a treasure box. It is not inexpensive to eat here but in my eyes, it’s worth every Penny for the quality of the food and service.
