I've lived in this area all my life and never been here. Set on a back road between Eaglton and Jim Falls. Was a good option for an anniversary dinner. I had the apple pork loin 6oz with lyanised Hashbrowns. It was very good. Hashbrowns were not burnt, which I find in most cases when ordering them from other restaurants. The meat was juicy and tender. Not over done to be like mush and not under cooked to be like chewing gum. It was loaded with cooked apples that I could have had a second helping of!! My husband had the ground sirloin steak. ( we are not steak people) Didn't realize it was going to come out like a hamburger with no bun! But it was good and juicy. Had it cooked medium-well. Also had the lyanized potatoes. When going back he said he will just get the sirloin steak. Portions were plenty. Also had an open salad bar which you get when ordering the meal. The seating was ok. I did kinda feel a little close with the other patrons. The place overall was nice, had feeling of, this place has been here a while but not a run down shack. If you are lucky enough to get a back table there is windows to look out that overlook an open field, which at the time had deer in it. When entering the establishment, you first enter the bar. Seemed spacious with plenty of seating around the bar. And adequate standing room. We were told a 10 minute wait for a table. We ordered a drink and were seated in about 5. There was not a huge menu of options but a little of everything to choose from, and a kids menu. Staff was very friendly and overall atmosphere was nice, and casual. We will be going back.
