This Walmart has always been very well taken care of, for as long as I've lived in the area - which is 10 plus years. Many times it can be hard to get workers to engage with you. However, in the past few weeks, I have met several workers who weren't afraid to look me in the eye, smile and see if they could be of service. 2 such workers were night stockers, as I was at the store after 10 pm. Trystan and Taylor Mort both smiled and made eye contact with me and Trystan helped me with a product that was out of my reach. These brothers are hard of hearing, but their willingness to stop what they were doing and see how they could help me, said so much to me. It actually made my day.

Had my tires installed, even took the first appointment of the day. By far the worse experience I had to encounter with tire service ever. The price of the tires & the style great. Servicing department needs an attitude adjustment. It took 3 hours to do & every time I looked taking breaks. Do other vehicles first & pushing mine off to the side as I waited patiently, hell even took a 45 minute nap. Left here with thoughts of suicide & how bad I was treated.

I think Walmart is a good place to shop because they have a lot of candy to choose from. Also, there are Barbies, LOL dolls, remote control cars and trucks, and legos. Another reason is Walmart has lots of things to shop from. If you like Piggly Wiggly you might also like Walmart because they both are places to shop. Walmart is good for families because there is something there for everyone in the family!

This place is RIDICULOUS! I was detained by loss prevention after they ASSUMED I was trying to leave the store without paying! I left my wallet in the car, and was going to get it. I didn't leave the inside of the store with ANY merchandise, and when I was stopped, I tried explaining that I just needed to greb my wallet and I'd be right back. The lady wasn't having it! I was ordered to an office at the front of the store, I asked how long it would take before I could get my wallet and het out of there because I had the debit card, and my fiance needed to leave for work in an hour, but needed to get gas. It was then that she informed me the police were coming. I know my rights. I politely told her my name, and where I lived, and said the police could talk with me there, as it was explained to her NUMEROUS TIMES I needed to get the card home or my fiance wasn't going to make it to work. She heard the heated conversation I was having with the man, knew the situation was causing me great emotional distress, and she continued to treat me like some common criminal!! I DID end up leaving the store, and was just going to call law enforcement when I got home. Well, this Walmart loss prevention lady was on a power trip! Pissed off because I knew my rights, knew she couldn't detain me, and knew that the entire situation could have been avoided had she simply walked with me to my car, grab my wallet (like I was TRYING to do in the first place!) Pay for my items, ans leave. Instead she made a HUGE deal out of absolutely NOTHING! I was pulled over on my way home, arrested on the highway, my car was towed and I had to pay $420 to get it back, spent the night in jail, and am being charged with a crime an overzealous employee with a GOD complex "thought " was happening!! THEN when I get the police report, it shows that the employee called law enforcement 20 MINUTES BEFORE I EVEN WENT TO CHECK OUT AND REPORTED A "RETAIL THEFT" IN PROGRESS!! HOW can you report something that hasn't/didn't happen?! I spend HUNDREDS of dollars every month at Walmart, and have NEVER stolen a thing! I was humiliated, slandered, treated like an absolutely horrible human being, made fun of on social media due to her report of me "fleeing" the store, abandoning the "loot" being made out to be a theif...all because a crappy employee didn't want to admit she was WRONG!! Be careful, Walmart customers! Apparently if Walmart wants you to be a shoplifter...you WILL BE! Train your damn loss prevention employees a little better, Walmart! I'm coming for what's owed to me. See you in civil court!

This holiday season, I want to recognize the employees at Walmart in Hartford. Especially Karen, Jenny and Taylor in customer service. They are always so pleasant and helpful! Whoever is doing the hiring is doing a fantastic job. I'm that customer that asks for help and every time I do, the staff is there to help without hesitation. If I one word of constructive criticism, it would be for the staff to ask if the customers need help finding anything. Before the customer even has to ask. Festival Foods does an amazing job with customer relations by doing that same social gesture. I was a firefighter/paramedic for 20 years. I then worked retail at Cabela's, at high-end restaurants and now an outside Sales Rep for Wisconsin Building Supply. I have been to other Walmarts in the Milwaukee area and Hartford is where I prefer to shop. Let's not forget the pharmacy staff! They blow Walgreens away 1000%. So hats off to everyone working for Hartford Walmart!!!
