We went to Jay for our first dance, and I am SO happy we did! He was very educated and kept thinking at our level. We had a blast leaving the choreographed dance he made for us. He was always so accommodating and eased our nerves. Such a fun experience. If you are considering taking lessons and feel a little iffy, this is your sign to do it. I am so glad we did 😊.

Working with Jay was the best part of my husband and I's wedding planning. We wanted a meaningful first dance and Jay helped make that wish come to life. He is creative and enthusiastic and made the learning process simple even for two people with minimal dance experience. We can't wait to go back and learn more!

Ballroom By Jay is an awesome dance studio located in Green Bay, WI for new and experienced dancers and even those with 2 left feet. If you are looking to learn a few dances for an upcoming wedding, anniversary or social event BBJ is the place to go. He also offers fun and interactive group classes focusing on a specific dance each month and a monthly social dance. Private lessons available for individuals who want to learn more and those that want to compete. Jay is an experienced, caring, fun instructor who takes the stress out of learning to ballroom dance with no pressure sales tactics. Highly recommend even for those with 2 left feet.

We recommend working with Jay from Ballroom by Jay for any of your dancing needs. We worked with Jay before our wedding so that we would feel more comfortable with our first dance. He listened to our needs to get us ready for our first dance. Each lesson he would take the time to review the previous moves we learned, provide feedback on how we could do them better, and then teach us a little more. By the end of our sessions with Jay we felt we had a polished set of dance routines we could do during our first dance. Jay even allowed our parents to come for a session so they could also feel comfortable with their dance too. Jay was an effective teacher and constructive on his feedback so that we felt confident on the dance floor. It was fun to have date nights leading up to the wedding working with Jay on our first dance song. Our first dance ended up being a highlight of our night and others were impressed with it! From start to finish, working with Jay was so easy and positive.

Jay is an awesome person and a spectacular dance instructor! He is a great dancer himself and lives to dance. Me and boyfriend saw him for a year (against his will), but Jays bubbly personality made him feel comfortable. The studio is beautiful and is decorated nicely always per the season. We are middle aged, and my boyfriend is not a dancer at all. Jay was so patient with us needing to learn the same things over and over every time. I really enjoyed my time dancing with Jay! He also holds fun dance functions for his people that are so fun and fancy! He has a great group of people surrounding him. I highly recommend!
