About

Dheinsville Historic Park is a historic park in Germantown. Our grounds include the Wolf Haus Genealogy Center, the Bast Bell Museum, and the Christ Church Museum of Local History. We also offer facilities for events, including an archery area and a large pavilion. Our team is reconstructing the Loos log cabin as a new museum annex using original 1860s log cabin materials. The Genealogy Resource Center is open Wednesdays from 12N to 4 pm.

Cute public park, built on a old original settlement. Nice facilities if you would host a family reunion or other party. Also has an area for archery. Good practice for the bow hunters.

Great Park in the later summer! Mosquitos were quite aggressive in the shade so stick to the sun. Bathrooms were also clean and updated. The pavilion was large enough for most events it is a little exposed so windy days can make for keeping lighter objects from blowing away pretty difficult.

Had a great time here for Oktoberfest 2018. The community of people were so polite, extremely family friendy environment, the food was delish, authenic music was fun, and the wonderful steins of beer were refreshing. The highlight of the afternoon was the docshound races. Can wait to return next year!
