Lakeside cabins with a private sand beach and boat rentals
We really enjoyed our stay here. Cute little cabins ( very clean) with everything you need.We loved that you can fish right off the pier & they have a designated swimming area too! Will definitely recommend this place to all our family and friends!
Stopped in for a day pass with the family. The owner was super friendly. It was a great deal for access to kayaks, the swimming beach, fishing area, picnic tables, grill and bathrooms. Super relaxing and awesome place to have nearby our vacation home in the area. The cabins look like a fun time if you needed a place to stay. We will definitely be back to hang out and will be telling our friends to stay here while visiting!
If you’re looking for a relaxed, nostalgic lakeside escape that feels more like visiting family than staying at a resort, this is it. Spent a few days here with my sister-in-law, and we loved it. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, and our cabin was so adorable. Ours was a cozy space with its own little kitchen (complete with a stove, oven, fridge, and dining booth), a clean bathroom with a good shower, and a picnic table in the backyard with a grill ready for making s’mores. It instantly reminded me of summers at my grandma’s old cabin just a short drive away. I’d wake up every morning feeling like a kid again. We spent hours swimming in the lake, and I even tried paddle boarding for the first time... a wobbly success. You can also kayak, lounge on the beach, or cast a line for some fishing. One of my favorite moments was getting absolutely swarmed by some curious bluegill while swimming. And in case hunger strikes, there’s even a convenient snack stand/tiki bar right next to the beach. We both enjoyed our time here very much, and highly recommend it!
Stayed here from June 1-5 2026 and truly can’t wait to visit again!! The lake was gorgeous, the party cabin was in the perfect spot and loved having firewood available. Kids were able to ride bikes, swim, go in floats, paddle board, boat and more! I strongly recommend this place! We didn’t mind the drive to the Dells and enjoyed being able to relax under under the stars.
The Island Resort has been a place that has provided some of the best memories of my entire life. The cabin (#1) was clean and fully stocked with all of the pots and pans we needed to cook our meals and clean towels for the shower. Justin and his family are incredible hosts. Rebecca greeted us kindly and set us up with our key on day one. On day two we were given freshly baked cookies from his daughter. As far as cabins go, this place sets the standards. The atmosphere of the “island” is inviting and private. We were able to mingle with the other guests and hangout in the game room near the fire pit as well as enjoy our privacy. Each cabin has its own grill and fire ring and picnic area. This place has no flaws! If you find any, you may need to look inward! We will definitely be back to enjoy more peaceful time in Friendship at the Island Resort.
