The highlight of our week in Door County was The English Inn. The service was notably miles ahead of other places we ate, the food was perfect, and the atmosphere was everything you look for in a good supper club. The steak was finished perfectly, and could not be beat.

Very unique and fun looking place! Fireplace centered tables outside were cozy with blankets provided. It was in the 50s and we were comfy in our shorts and sweatshirts. Brought us a rose before service! We had the regular French onion which was perfect. The bread basket was good. My spouse had steak and baked potato that was very tasty and cooked perfectly. I had the smaller portion pork chop with apples on top and it’s the best pork I have ever had!!! I even ate the glazed carrots because they were so good (I’m not a carrot fan!). Beautiful dinner for a special night out. I’d say the foods priced just right. Our waiter was great and very nice; he even took time to speak with us about Romania and his summer program he was on to work in DC then go back to school. Also open later hours then a lot of places which helped us with the time change and out stomachs schedule.
