We had the most amazing experience here. Our family of 6 loved it so much the first night, we cancelled our plans for the next night and came back for another show. It was that good. Well worth the trip and a must do activity if you are in the area.
Great summer stock theater that commissions new works with themes related to the local Door County. Cheese heads the Musical was... well... cheesy !! But lots of fun !!
I love coming to these shows! I have been to 6 of them now, and they are all great! The stories are original, set in Wisconsin, and are very relatable and heartening. You won't regret going!
So fun!! A little disorganized at the start but we also had a chance of rain so staff was trying to make the best of what could happen. Definitely recommend and take the whole family! We will be going up again and making sure this is part of our tradition when visiting door county!
What a wonderful place to get lost in a theatrical fantasy! As you drive deep into the forest of the Peninsula State Park, it's hard to imagine a theater set outdoors. Once you are seated, it feels like you are in your own little world for awhile. After the show, the darkened paths you entered on are romantically lit so you can safely find your way back to your car and the real world.
