We dined while camping and had Olivia for our waitress. She was amazing! So nice and attentive to our needs. The food was amazing! We had the oysters rockerfeller and carpaccio with truffle fries to start. Our daughter had grilled cheese and fries and proceeded to eat all the fries. We each had the small seafood plate and perch plate. The scallops were a little briney but otherwise the food was great. I had a Prosecco and cherry cosmo and my husband had an old fashioned. We will definitely be back!

We almost had our experience ruined by a terrible patron who began her arrival to the open air restaurant asking for air conditioning.... Yall know the type. I think her name was Jenna and she left a review that reflects her personality, so hopefully you read this review instead. Thankfully Chris(host) whisked her away( hopefully to the basement) where she and her abominable 'date' could be alone before their loud obnoxious comments ruined our conversation / evening. Our server was Kamil and we had a great evening. The oysters were great, and we even came back the next day and met the Chef.

The food was great. The service could have been better. Came here to celebrate a birthday and made it known when the reservation was made. It would’ve been nice to have had that acknowledged when we checked in for our reservation like we have had at other places. The waiter was ok however still took over 25 minutes to get us the bill even after saying “I’ll be right back with the bill”. Again the food and atmosphere is great just wished the service matched the quality of food tonight. Hopefully it was a one off.

Door County. The raw oysters were the freshest and best I’ve ever had up here—perfectly chilled, briny, and clean. The truffle burger was outstanding: juicy prime beef, rich truffle aioli, and those mushroom duxelles took it to another level. Easily one of the top burgers anywhere in the peninsula. Drinks were spot-on too. The Mule was refreshing, well-balanced, and dangerously drinkable—great twist on a classic Moscow Mule. Excellent liquor selection overall; the bar clearly knows what they’re doing. What really made the evening special was the staff. Everyone was welcoming and attentive, but the bartender stole the show—super knowledgeable, fun to chat with about local fishing, the changing seasons up here, and of course Packers talk (fellow fan!). It felt like catching up with an old friend rather than just grabbing a drink. Barringer’s nails the balance of upscale food in a relaxed, historic setting. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Fish Creek—whether you’re at the bar or sitting down for dinner. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Door County.

Was worried when we arrived that there would be a long wait as there is in Door County. However we were sat immediately and were able to sit in our preference on the patio. At first our waiter was a little shy but he ended up warming up to us towards the end which was nice. Food was top notch! We got recommendations from staff and they were all helpful in helping us narrow it down our choices. We will definitely be back again!
