Being a place of pilgrimage I was not expecting such prices! With a big family I spent over 80$ for 6 sandwiches and 4 bottles of water, the pbj for kids was 8$ with no side or drinks, it was really disappointing in seeing a caffetteria in such a holy place taking advantage of the pilgrims there

First time here. We stopped in after visiting the church and climbing the tower. Food: I ordered a scone and a hot mocha. The scone was good, while the mocha was just okay. Service: It took almost 20 minutes to get my drink, even though there were not that many people there. After waiting about 15 minutes and seeing other customers receive their drinks, I asked the barista about my order. They did not seem to appreciate the question and responded that "the drinks are being made in the order they are taken." However, I had noticed at least one party that ordered after me receiving their drinks first. The barista then seemed to casually get around to making my drink. The interaction came across as somewhat passive-aggressive, which was disappointing. It's not an experience I would want others to have. Atmosphere: The café is interesting, with a couple of different rooms and plenty of space for groups. There were only a few other people there during our visit. Like the rest of the church, gift shop, and grounds, the café has a somewhat dated feel. Since I don't come here very often, I don't anticipate making a point to stop at the café again.

Enjoyed the combination salad and soup (cauliflower cheddar) I got. The line will have you questioning if it will be worth it, but I love supporting this on-site cafe and the cafe is adorable. Pricing was more than expected for my meal, but was enjoyable! Insider tip: there's bathrooms outside the cafe that aren't busy compared to the main ones by the gift shop.

We probably stop in here every other visit and mainly for the kids' sake whenever they're feeling snacky or want ice cream. The staff is friendly and prices are reasonable but I look at it as supporting the church which is always a good feeling.
