Worth the wait and $4/ person to get into the park then $20/person to ride the ferry over for a 4 hour maximum stay on the island. Soft white sand with plenty of shelling.😎

Beautiful beach. Powdery white sand. Beach umbrellas and chirs were available for rent. Small cafe/gift shop was near the dock you arrive and depart from.
This was a phenomenal park. Much less busy than Clearwater with so much more beauty and access to seashells and such. Not ideal for strollers unless it has beach wheels. Be ready for the beach because that’s what fills this area. There are picnic tables available.
The ferry was a great service to get us to and from Caledesi Island. You can only stay up to 4hrs, but can return early if you want. The boat ride was nice, the boat captain talked a bit regarding history and trivia about the surrounding area. The ferry dock has a shelter and restrooms, which are convenient.
This is such a fun experience! Tickets are currently $10/child and $20/adult, kids under 5 are free. The boat ride is about 20min or so. They have “Junior Captain” stickers they give to kids on the boat when you return to Honeymoon. The waiting areas to board the boat are both a covered dock area and spacious. Both have ramps. You can bring beach chairs on the ferry but no tents or anything larger.
