Outstanding from start to finish. The pork belly lollipops are a must-order (seriously, just get them), and the shrimp cocktail with sweet tiger shrimp and spicy cocktail sauce was excellent. The walleye was perfectly cooked with crispy skin and paired beautifully with the risotto and brussel sprouts. The hospitality was just as impressive as the food. We’ll definitely be back!

A beautiful restaurant location with excellent food. I had the scallops which were perfectly done and my husband was happy with his short ribs. The dressing and sauce for the grilled peach salad and the walleye piccata were some of the best I've ever had! Our only issue we had was that it took quite a while to get water and drinks ordered but once we did service was great. The table bread was good too. The patio looked beautiful. I would bring kids here but probably only if I were staying at the resort.

The restaurant is a little difficult to find at first, but if you ask one of the staff members, they’ll gladly point you in the right direction. The atmosphere and views are definitely highlights of the experience. We even got to watch a wedding while we were there, which made for a really nice setting. The presentation of the food was beautiful, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. The steak was cooked well and was enjoyable. The short ribs, however, were a bit underwhelming compared to others I’ve had at different restaurants. The mashed potatoes had a great, creamy texture but could have used a little more seasoning and flavor.

Such a lovely restaurant by the lake!!! The service is WONDERFUL - Marco our waiter was so kind to us. He helped my elderly parents share their meal on two separate plates 🤗 Marco was really friendly throughout and I highly recommend his top notch service! The rustic wooden furniture, peaceful atmosphere, and indoor and outdoor seating were all so pleasant. The food was decent.. we did think that the prime rib sandwich with brie and classic smash burger could be better. Maybe a raspberry jam in the sandwich would make it tastier. We did have the 1878 chowder and French onion soup which were delicious. We do wish they had more diverse types of mains like grilled fish or pasta for lunch. We would definitely come back to this wonderful restaurant!

Kristine K. provided absolutely incredible service! She was attentive, thoughtful and extremely kind. She asked if we would like a photo taken and it was so great to have that memory captured. She also knows the menu like the back of her hand and gave fabulous recommendations. The food was great as well, but we would truly come back for the amazing service Kristine K. provided. If you plan to visit, ask for Kristine K. for an incredible food and top of the notch service.
