Stopped in around brunch time and ordered the Vermont chicken salad on a bed of greens, cabbage, carrots and chickpeas. For my side I opted for the seasonal fruit medley. I also asked for their creamy maple dressing on the side which paired perfectly as a dip for my fruit. Everything was very fresh and delicious! The Vermont chicken salad was very, very good but the portion given could have been a bit larger. Karen was our server and she was wonderful - she’s an absolute asset to the cafe! The was she connects and interacts with each customer is so fun and I enjoyed our friendly banter. I ordered hot coffee to drink and it was nice and strong and everflowing throughout my meal. I would have loved to sit on the cafe’s outdoor covered patio but it was full when I got there so I sat inside. Patio seating is limited and a hot commodity - best to get there sooner in the morning if you plan to sit outside. The cafe also has a small gift store that is located outside of their main restaurant where they sell their homemade chicken salads and tuna salads and various other fun bits and pieces. You best believe I bought a container of the Vermont chicken salad to take with me!
