Did a half day charter (4 hours) with Capt. Nick and Adam. Had an excellent time. You could tell right off the bat these guys knew what they were doing. Before departing they asked us what we were looking to do and goals of the charter. We wanted to do some fishing and catch enough to eat for lunch back at the marina and then go hit a couple of spots to have some fun and see what we can catch. Mission accomplished - caught plenty for the four of us to eat for lunch then at the end took some time to see what else we could land. Last leg of the trip we caught a giant Goliath Grouper!!! Nothing official but looks like 200lbs and about 5 feet……boys will be talking about this one the rest of their lives! Thanks Capt. Nick and Adam!

Nick and Adam were awesome! This was An amazing Charter and they went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience . captain nick and Adam even came down and helped my 6 year old son reel in some monster snapper and grouper ! This will be a memory my son and I will never forget ! Highly recommend

If you're considering booking a trip, I urge you to stop reading reviews and just do it. Adam and Nick are the real freakin' deal The captain (Nick) and hand (Adam) were outstanding from start to finish. Knowledgeable, professional, patient, and clearly passionate about what they do. We ran about 30-40 miles offshore, and they worked hard the entire trip to keep us on fish and make sure everyone was having a great time. The boat was clean, the gear was in great shape, and the crew somehow managed to answer every question while untangling lines, baiting hooks, and making it all look easy. If you're looking for a charter that combines expertise, hard work, and a genuinely fun atmosphere, this is the one. We'll definitely be back assuming the fish haven't filed a restraining order against this crew first. I'll have to get some more photos uploaded later this evening when I have time to scope through everything! Great time, and I can't stress enough how great Nick and Adam were.

We have fished with dozens of charters in the Clearwater area over the past 16 years, and I can confidently say that Captain Nick and Salt Cracker Charters are easily the best and most fun we have ever had fishing the Gulf waters. From the moment we stepped on board, Captain Nick was incredibly welcoming and professional. He immediately went over the safety equipment locations, making everyone feel secure, and then asked what our goals were for the day. We told him we were there solely to catch dinner, and he delivered flawlessly. He took us straight to his first spot, and we caught our limit of grouper in no time! After securing our dinner, he even took us to some fun secondary spots just to see if we could hook into some massive fish. The deckhand, Adam, was absolutely phenomenal. He was incredibly patient and easily the friendliest deckhand we’ve ever encountered on a charter. He broke everything down for us—explaining the equipment, what to do (and what not to do), what to feel for, and proper reeling techniques. The boat itself was pristine and extremely clean. They had a cooler completely packed with ice and ready for all the snacks and drinks we brought along. In between spots, Adam worked tirelessly to keep the deck spotless while Captain Nick navigated us to the next honey hole. We will absolutely be fishing with Captain Nick for years to come. We went out for a 4 hr trip. Capt Nick and Adam were great. Nick moved to 5 different locations and we caught fish at each one. Would definitely recommend these guys and will probably take a 6 hr trip next year with them.
