Homemade! Juli's Mexican Restaurant 1237 Cleveland Street. Chips, Queso (Real Cheese), Real Refried Beans, authentic Mexican Rice, Tortillas all made fresh and home made. Chips had char on the edges. Tortillas light and fluffy. Refried Beans that you could tell they were made from stratch. They made me my "Off Menu" favorite: Jalapeno Toreodos, which is Julienned Jalapenos and Onions fried on the grill. I was seated right away and a beverage was brought to my table promptly. The menu had everything and it was reasonably priced. My waitress, Fernande, was friendly, polite and very helpful. She brought chips and salsa and they also had a spicy version to offer also that I liked very much. The portions were good and the food was tasty and very fresh. The Queso was thick and cheesy not like "the runny white" stuff that normally comes to the table at most places. The Fajitas were good and the homemade Tortillas were a pleasant suprise. I like Tex-Mex and authentic Mexican food and this was authentic Mexican food. It is located on a portion of Cleveland Street that was not congested and easy to get to. I recommend that everyone give this little place a chance!
