We went fishing on august 2 2026. It was rough as all could be. And rainy and still had a great time. These guys will still put you on some fish no matter what. Too me it was just about getting on the water. These guys are great and very helpful two thumbs 👍 up.

I took my 9yr old daughter on her first ever fishing trip. She was fortunate enough to catch "1" fish (sea bass), however, I was unable to catch anything at all. I will say this would be my 3rd time fishing and my first official time fishing in salt water. I was over the moon for my little one and how happy she was to catch her first fish ever! I was definitely bummed out cause it felt like we didnt get to spend too much time anchored in one spot to catch much. It felt like 30mins before we had to roll up our line and keep traveling further out. Majority of the trip was driving and it was a very beautiful scenery that I did enjoy. The boat was spacious and clean and the crew was kind. The guy who came around to teach me and my little one how to use the rod and some tips ended up coming by a pulling a fish and he let me finish pulling him up and it was so pretty looking but just as I was swinging it inward towards the boat the dang thing jumped off 😑💀 I dont know the guys name but he was on the thinner side and tall. My baby was literally crying inside the cabin when it was 4pm and the captain announced he was going to start driving back and she only got to get 1 fish. The crew member said not to worry that he was able to grab some fish for us to take home with the 1 my little one caught 😭🤧 He single handedly SAVED our day cause I was crushed !!! Thank you sooo much! Sorry I dont remember your name but I appreciate you. They crew does cut the fish for you for additional charge ( few dollars ) but it was worth it. I would like to try again with my husband who is a skilled fisherman so hopefully it'll be a better outcome if we go in the a.m. Alot of the neighboring people fishing also was having trouble catching anything. I remember this guy saying he got nothing but his wife got 5 fish. OVERALL Great experience
Update**** 2nd trip
I decided to go back and I brought my husband and my daughter. We did the full day charter and it was on a smaller boat. We had better luck with catching. We caught a total of 25. I did see some other couples caught up towards 50 which was amazing to see and cheer them on. The biggest cons I noticed was a restroom facilities. I let crew person know that ladies room didnt flush and he advised the generator was broken so neither toilet would flush and we have to get a bucket to manually flush. Throughout the whole trip it wasn't flushed and my little one refused to go cause it was completely backed up. Luckily we always carry a mini bidet and potty just in case cause we do alot road trips. We did opt to keep our fish whole and take them back with us as is cause we prefer to keep the skin on filets and we noticed they do not do that here. We stood around while the lines of fish were passed out by number and the crew member said we works for tips which I get. I do not ever carry cash on me but I took a few ones out of my husband's wallet and handed it to him and he looked confused and almost insulted. I have no idea how much the crew is paid but I was only giving what I had while others just walked by so I was genuinely confused. He handed me my string of fish and I was waiting patiently for ice from his bucket. He did not offer me any ice or even a bag to put the fish in. 2 couples that sent him money (im guessing a huge amount) with their phone through an app and he poured their coolers with ice and gave them a bag. I held out my bag in front of him and didn't even look at me. He announced he had some more fish that were just loose and giving it away. He gave it all to the couple that tipped him the most which I get but I didn't understand why he would announce it to everyone who wants the loose remaining fish but then give it all to one person even though 5 people stood around him? 2nd con was when i asked for a life jacket from the crew member ( think his name was Jason) he said he can't give it to me because it's only for emergency purposes. I always ensure my daughter has a life jacket on when we're on the water. The Half day crew did provide, see photo.

Exceptional every time. The helpful and friendly deck hands Jason and Mike will make sure you have a great time. If you are new to fishing they will show you how. My wife and I caught 35 grunts and hog fish, all exceptionally tasty. I recommend a knocker rig. They also have a rod/reel you can use for about $10. An all day trip is a low price. They supply the bait that you need. They will also clean your catch. Be sure to tip, they work hard.

Went out with the Double Eagle Crew for the first after my regular boat was not running for a particular day. Had a great time! The crew was friendly and attentive the whole day. Ended up putting 26 keepers on the stringer on a slow, cold day. The boat caught a wide variety of fish; grunts, porgy, mangos, lane, grouper, and even a few sharks. I would definitely book with the Double Eagle again!
Came back out with the Double Eagle Crew in March for spring break on a half day trip. The boat was packed, but we had a great time putting fish in the box!

Do this! I took my whole family and we had a blast. They took care of everything and you don’t need a fishing license. They have restrooms, food for sale, and a fantastic crew. For a small fee they will filet your catch and you can take it to Crabby’s at the end of the dock and they will cook it for you. I highly recommend this! We had such a good time and caught a ton of fish, including a puffer! The deck hands were the best and extremely helpful. We did a 4 hour this time, but Next visit we will be doing an 8 hour for sure. Take some Dramamine and you will be fine. We also got to see dolphins on the way out and way back in!
