Cottages with lake access and a bar in Cascade, Wisconsin
This place was really nice. They have sweet cottages, Wisconsin style, right on a small quiet lake. There is a small bar there run by the nice coupple that rents the cottages. You can get a drink with a few locals or travelers after hiking around or boating in their canoes. Nice getaway.
Best time of my life. Came up from Chicago for the weekend to participate in a Tough Mudder with my friends.The staff was friendly and accommodating. with access to boats, a bar twenty feet from my cabin door, and being pet friendly, Four Seasons Resort ranks right up there in my book with other 5 star hotels around the globe. Will be coming back in 2015!
I brought my kids up here for twenty years. Now my kids come up here every year. It's a fantastic rustic place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It's in the Northern Kettle Moraine Forest so there's plenty of nature to enjoy.
