Four places to sleep serve this village, and every booking site will try to sell you a fifth that is somewhere else. The Belgium hotels question is simpler than the internet makes it look, and getting it right is mostly a matter of ignoring the aggregators.
One of them ranks a motel here that is not in Belgium. Another lists hotel chains by name, Quality Inn, Hampton Inn, Comfort Inn, that do not operate in this village at all. A third puts Elkhart Lake, twenty five miles away, inside a list of the closest places to stay. These are the actual four.
Belgium Inn & Suites
The only actual hotel in the village. It sits on the edge of town by the interstate, which means road noise on one side and a two-minute walk to the Luxembourg museum on the other.
Rooms have minifridges, microwaves and coffeemakers, with wall beds and kitchenettes in the upgraded ones. Breakfast is continental, served in a room with a brick fireplace. There is a sauna and a hot tub, which is more than a roadside inn at this price usually offers and is genuinely welcome after a cold day on the lake.
It is unpretentious and it is priced that way. Reviews run mixed, so set expectations at clean and convenient rather than polished.
Lake Church Inn
Open since 1847, which makes it older than the village that surrounds it and older than Wisconsin statehood by a year. It sits out on County Highway D in the direction of Lake Church, one of the Luxembourgish hamlets that predate Belgium itself.
What guests consistently say about it is the quiet and the innkeepers. It is not a boutique hotel and does not market itself as one. It is an inn that has been doing the same job on the same road for nearly 180 years.
It is also the closest bed to the state park entrance by road, which matters if you want the beach before the lot fills.
Camping at the state park
For a large part of the year this is the best option in Belgium and it is not a compromise. Wooded sites, a clean bathhouse, and walking distance to both the quarry and a mile of Lake Michigan beach.
There is a group site for up to thirty, tent only. There is a kayak site. There is an accessible cabin with a roll-in shower, counters a wheelchair rolls under and lifts available, which is a serious piece of provision rather than a box ticked. Firewood is sold on site.

The Bunkhouse
Not a hotel and not trying to be. The group lodge on County Highway KW sleeps up to 32 in bunkroom style, 22 beds plus cots, with a banquet hall that seats 100, a pool table and a foosball table.
It exists for retreats, family reunions and group weekends, and for that it is the only thing of its kind in the area. For two people passing through it is the wrong answer. For a hunting party, a church group or a family that has outgrown everyone's spare rooms, it is the reason to look at Belgium at all.
What staying here is actually like
Quiet, and closer to the lake than the price suggests. This is not a resort village and nothing here is styled for a weekend break. What it is good for is a base: the state park is two miles from the hotel, the trail runs through the middle of town, and the interstate puts Milwaukee and Sheboygan both inside an easy run.
The one thing to plan around is food. Kitchens here stop at three in the afternoon and the nearest late option is a bar. If you are checking in at seven in the evening, eat before you arrive or accept that dinner is burgers and curds at the bar on Spring Street.
Weddings are the other reason people stay. The barn venue on South Royal Avenue runs a full events operation with a bridal suite and a pond for photographs, and when it has a wedding on, the village's beds fill.
If Belgium is full
The real alternatives are south. Port Washington is seven to eight miles away and has a lakefront hotel downtown by the fishing harbour along with an interstate-exit option. Grafton is about thirteen miles, Sheboygan about the same in the other direction.
All of those are stated as distances rather than drive times on purpose. What a booking site tells you about how long it takes from Belgium to any of them is a guess, and a lot of what those sites say about this village turns out to be a guess.
