We threw a party for 150 guests, ranging from baby to 92 years old, this past March. This space is beautiful and so versatile. We were able to set up food, a bar area, dance floor with DJ, and enough tables and chairs for all our guests to be seated comfortably. We loved the set up of the space, with the many windows overlooking the park, along with a wrap around patio area (that would be so fun to use in the warmer months) It was still a great space, even though it was colder, for our guests to be able to pop outside for some fresh air. They also have a fireplace that faces both indoors/outdoors, which adds to the ambiance. I also loved that the rooms lights/sound system can be split up, allowing for the dance floor side to be dark while keeping the other side of the room well lit for ease of movement and quiet enough for conversation. It does not take a lot of decorations to elevate the space to be more formal. The kitchen area has great room to set up for catering, which allows for all the hustle and bustle of that to be behind closed doors. The bathrooms are nice, especially for a park building. Stacy from the parks department was amazing to work with, always quick to communicate and answer questions, and allowed me to visit the space twice before the event day to measure and plan the room set up. I will absolutely think about using this space in the future for different events.

We had a great experiences getting married at this location. The coordinator we worked with was Stacy and she was amazing! She addressed all our questions, let us tour while picking up the keys, and we had no problems with the rental. Only negative to this venue was the strict timeline on when you could enter the building to start setting up.

We had our wedding ceremony indoors at The Hillside. It was absolutely beautiful. We rented the facility for two days and held our rehearsal dinner here the night before while we set up for our ceremony. It was truly jaw dropping and we could not recommend this building enough. Stacy was wonderful to work with and answered all of our questions without hesitation!!

We hosted our wedding at The Hillside, and it was absolutely perfect. The property is stunning, every corner feels so thoughtfully designed and picturesque. The abundance of windows and natural light was exactly what we were looking for, making every moment feel bright, airy, and beautiful. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how gorgeous the space was! As a wedding planner, I’ve seen a lot of venues, but The Hillside truly stands out. It’s such a versatile and well-laid-out space that allows couples to really make it their own. Having access to the venue for the entire weekend was also amazing, it gave us the flexibility to set up at our own pace and really enjoy the experience. One important note for anyone considering it, there’s no on-site staff, so hiring a planner or coordinator is a must! Having a professional to manage logistics will make all the difference in ensuring the day runs smoothly. For us, The Hillside was the perfect blank canvas for our vision, and seeing it come to life on our wedding day was such a dream. I can’t imagine getting married anywhere else!
