We ordered Som Tam (papaya salad), Pad Thai, and Pad Kra Pao. The Som Tam had almost no flavor. The Pad Thai came with only four shrimp and looked very pale, without much taste. The Pad Kra Pao was okay. When you read the reviews here, you expect the food to be much better. Unfortunately, the price- performance ratio is really not good. The service was very attentive and the place itself is nice. It’s probably a good spot for drinks, but for food I would not recommend it.

Had my pad krapao and I was pleased that it has vegetables! First time I had this on the island. However, serving took some time (20-30 mins). Place was cozy but smells like pee somehow or maybe we were seated near the toilet that time. But, it shouldn't smell. All in all, J enjoyed my pad krapao pao!

The Corner Drinks & Food completely exceeded my expectations. I’m from Spain, where we’re spoiled with great seafood, so when I say the scallops were some of the best I’ve ever had, that means something. They were cooked to perfection — tender, flavorful, and simply brutal in the best possible way. Freshness on another level. But the real star of the night was the chicken Khao Soi. Honestly, it deserves a culinary award. The coconut-based curry was out of this world — creamy, rich, perfectly spiced, and full of depth. Every spoonful made me want to drink the sauce straight like an energy drink. It’s one of those dishes that stays in your memory for a long time. I also had the fried chicken with cashew nuts, which was excellent — crispy, tasty, and perfectly seasoned — but next to that Khao Soi, it’s hard for anything else to shine. Still, it’s a dish worth ordering. The coconut shake was refreshing and delicious, and I loved the small detail that when they couldn’t fit all of it into the coconut, they served the rest in a glass. A simple gesture, but one that shows care and attention. The portions are generous, and it’s no surprise the place is always full. The food, the vibe, and the friendliness of the staff make it one of those restaurants you don’t forget. If you come to Koh Kood, don’t miss this place. Long live the chef — everything was a 10 out of 10.

Tried this place based on their reviews and it did not disappoint, the venue itself it clean, nice decorated with a mix of indoor/outdoor seating options. The staff were brilliant too, friendly and responsive service and couldn’t do enough for us. Now the food 😍, one of our favourite reasons for coming to Thailand is the food. This was the first time trying Khoa Soi and it tasted as good as it looks, we had a seafood Penang curry also delicious and great amount of seafood in the serving! Side dishes of shrimp Papaya salad and also some fried shrimp, as you can see great portion size and value for money. They also ask for spice levels with your food too, we went ‘a bit spicy’ 😅 and this was perfect for us! We had this with 2 Leo’s and it came to 980 baht.
