It was a pleasure to visit this lovely restaurant. Our crew were enjoying food , drinks and stunning view of the mangrove river . Location is also great , so it’s not far from very center . Wonderful weather was accompanied us . Overall 5 stars is our rating for these lovely place .
This restaurant offers a nice combination of good food and a pleasant atmosphere. The menu has a decent variety of options, and everything we tried was well-prepared and tasty. The service was polite, although a bit slow during busy hours. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a casual dinner with friends or family.
Very tasty food, kind staff and some german options available too. The location was very pretty and quiet. Make sure to get the mango sticky rice! Only small point was that my Cosmopolitan didn't taste like the real thing but like an overly sweet, less alcoholy version of it. But we were really happy with the rest.
We visited the Bamboo Restaurant twice during our stay – once for dinner and again the next morning for breakfast – and both experiences were absolutely amazing. For dinner we had the burgers, a delicious Brotzeit platter and a Thai soup, and everything was fantastic. The quality of the food, the presentation and the flavors were outstanding. To finish the evening we had some homemade cake, which was the perfect dessert. Because we loved it so much, we came back the next morning for breakfast and tried both the sweet breakfast and the savory breakfast. Again, everything was simply delicious and prepared with so much care. But what really makes this place special is the atmosphere. It’s such a cozy, beautiful place with so much heart. The hospitality is incredibly warm and you immediately feel welcome. Honestly, this place deserves far more than 5 stars. The food, the atmosphere and the kindness of the people make it something truly special. We will definitely come back and can highly recommend the Bamboo Restaurant to everyone visiting Koh Kood.
This gem of a find was just what my friends and I needed on our Thai breathtaking holiday. The food is excellent. The cocktails are delicious and the surroundings of this open restaurant set at the edge of a beautiful jungle with beautifully manicured gardens and highly accessible by road and opposite the Kood Life resort which had wonderfully comfortable lodgings. Nature is plentiful including two gorgeous peacocks who roam the land…
