The staff's friendliness could have been better, but the café's atmosphere, the presentation and quality of the food, and the overall value for money were all excellent. Despite offering more affordable prices than many of the nearby cafés, the coffee was outstanding. I would definitely recommend it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a lovely experience at Ya Ya Café in Stellenbosch! I met up with a friend here, and it was the perfect setting. There was a great buzz and lively atmosphere, but it never felt too noisy—we could still enjoy our conversation and hear each other comfortably. The food was absolutely delightful. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and clearly prepared with care. If you're looking for a place with delicious food, a vibrant atmosphere, and the perfect balance between energy and comfort, I'd definitely recommend Ya Ya Café. I'll certainly be back!

A solid spot for a hearty breakfast in Sea Point, though it gets quite noisy and busy in the morning. The Good: The Food: Really high quality. I went for the Shawarma/gyro because I wanted a protein-heavy start to the day, and it didn't disappoint. The English Breakfast was also very good. The Drink: The banana milkshake is excellent! The Not-so-good: Service: We had to wait a very long time for the bill. Also, we asked for a takeaway coffee multiple times, but it was eventually just removed from the bill without being made. Overall: Come here for the food and the lively atmosphere, but be prepared for a bit of a wait when it's crowded.

Took my wife for our "5th anniversary breakfast" at Ya-ya cafe. The food did not disappoint and the service was decent. It was quite busy when we visited, atmosphere was buzzing with conversation and the sound of cutlery on plates as everyone enjoyed their delicious meals. Conclusion, Ya-ya Cafe is a good pick for Breakfast and Brunch.

This café offers truly first-class breakfasts. The staff are very friendly, and every table is decorated with fresh wildflowers that not only brighten up the atmosphere but also give off a lovely fragrance. We had breakfast here on two mornings, and both times it was of a very high standard. They open as early as 7 a.m., which is great. The only thing we didn’t have much time for was trying their cakes—we only focused on their breakfast. The dining atmosphere here is also excellent, which is why we strongly recommend this place. This was our first time having such an outstanding breakfast in Stellenbosch. This is a genuine review from Malaysians—many thanks to the owner and his team for their attentive service and top-quality food!
