We went there for two nights due to a wedding close by we were attending. The next day we went to Table Mountain. So it is driving distance to most places in the Cape Town area. Really nice and friendly staff. Also accommodated us for checking in an hour early to prepare for our function. I read some bad reviews and was hesitant cause I already booked and paid. But I can confirm our experience was nothing like the bad reviews. The lady in reception did mention there is some rooms that is quite old and needs some renovations. We stayed in room 4 and it was really nice. Compared to another guests house we stayed in for a lot more in Frans Hoek.

What was advertised and what we got were worlds apart. Our room was shocking. It was old, damaged, miserable towels, stains on cushions and just an awful room. I asked to change but nothing available. We were due to stay 2 nights but left. Very hard to believe they get such a high rating as would not recommend staying there. It seems run down and tired. Pool looked lovely but that was about it. Photos attached may seem petty but when you pay for a room, this is not acceptable.

Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Restaurant on premises. You can park your car and put way the keys. Mini bar fridge stocked with goodies and wine to buy on premises. Putt Putt for the kids, a pool and tennis court.
