An amazing experience, and potentially my favourite day in the whole 2 weeks we were in South Africa! The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome from the start. The wine estates we went to were amazing, we loved every single one we went too. We did the tractor on a pretty miserable morning (it was lovely by 4pm) but it was still such an amazing day, and all the vineyards have indoor seating so it didn’t matter to us that the sun wasn’t shining all day. 100% recommend!!

We had a fabulous morning exploring some of Stellenbosch’s wines and wine estates. The wine tractor experience adds a whole new dimension to wine tasting. The staff are friendly, informative and helpful, adding to the experience. This is certainly a ‘must do’ when in Stellenbosch. Loads of fun.

We had an absolutely wonderful time on the winetractor tour in Stellenbosch. One of the things we enjoyed most was that the experience felt relaxed and personal. We were able to take in the beautiful vineyards while riding through it on the tractor, which was such a unique and charming way to explore the area. Having a guide on the tractor made the tour even more special. As we drove through the wine estates, she shared interesting insights about the local wineries, the grape varieties, and the history behind the region’s winemaking. It gave us a much deeper appreciation for the landscape and the wines produced there. Overall, it was a memorable and genuinely enjoyable experience that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Stellenbosch!

For a unique and fun winelands experience, you must book a trip on the Stellenbosch wine tractor! 🍷🚜 We recently hopped on at Eikendal Wine Estate and visited Longridge for a wine tasting, Webersburg for lunch, ending back at Eikendal for a glass of wine beside the dam. Lee, our friendly and knowledgeable guide, made sure we had a great time and gave us interesting info about the wine estates as we wound our way through the vineyards. Expect breathtaking mountain views and vines, delicious food, amazing wines, history and a whole lot of fun. The wine tractor experience is very well organized with fantastic staff and is a safe & fun way to visit a few wine estates in a day. The rates are very good. Book your trip and create unforgettable memories!

So, off the bat, I am not a wine person - I am a beer and whisky guy - so spending the day on a tractor going from wine farm to wine farm is REALLY not something that I would jump at (probably something I would have avoided, to be honest)...but the Stellenbosch Wine Tractor was amazing! The atmosphere created by the guide, the tractor, the friendly staff and of course the wine farms was just amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know about each farm, and then getting the origin story for each wine on offer - I actually learnt a lot about wine, and left having a deeper appreciation for it - and also now enjoy the odd glass of wine between the usual beer and whiskey. We took our kids along (which I thought was going to be a mistake) and they also loved the experience - many of the farms cater for children (various things for them to taste and enjoy). They loved running around on the farms, and didn't ask to go home once - riding on a tractor, and being treated like VIPs by the staff obviously helped. I would definitely recommend the Stellenbosch Wine Tractor to all my friends and family - even the ones, like me, who are not wine drinkers - it is a truly unique experience, and one that the whole family can enjoy. A solid 5 out of 5! Thanks Stellenbosch Wine Tractor team!
