We had booked an evening paired with wine. What an enjoyable evening. The view over the land reflected on the nature of dining. Service was impeccable, food delicious and the wines very palatable - it was just a pity I could not buy some bottles as travelling on the following day. This was a crowning event after the work had been done and it was a delightful evening.

We’ve been here a few times for wine tastings and have enjoyed each time. The view is amazing and there is a wide variety of wines to taste. Especially some more rare varietals like Sangiovese. I also really recommend comparing the different Chardonnays they have to offer. What stands out most is the friendliness of the staff and their passion for the wine they serve. It always creates an amazing space for exploring and learning about the farms unique wine style.

We celebrated a belated 50th birthday of a family member yesterday with lunch for 13 at Ryksaart’s Restaurant. The venue is stunning and the food superb. We loved the way we could help ourselves from platters of starters and then the Main Course which were brought to the table. The service was excellent. Can really recommend it for a special family occasion.

Great setting, live music and good food made for a pleasant 1st visit to this winery. A kiddies play area near the tastng room provides some entertainment for kids.dishes ordered were rib eye steak, perfectly grilled a salad ,sirloin steak and chips, more medium to well than medium to rare, but tasty , and chicken strips and chips for the child. The wine list comprises of small selections of spirits; gin and tonic went down well as did a glass of pinotage.Icecream and chocolate sauce was had for dessert. The bill after tip was a reasonable R750.00.on the entertainer app.all in all a thoroughly pleasant afternoon spent in the sun listening to the silky smooth voice of guitar playing Portia.

My husband and I went for lunch. This is a beautiful wine estate. I live in Somerset West and sadly this is the first time I've been here. But now that I know, I can see it becoming a favourite! The gardens are so lovely, with raised vegetable beds, and an incredible view. We dined Alfresco under a lovely shady tree and Nash was the best waiter. I brought my own glutenfree bun with as we knew we were going to have the burger and chips. The flavours of that beef patty! So good! I could taste the coriander and cumin. Excellent live music to accompany our food and we bought a bottle of The Emily Cuvée rose which is in itself out of this world. I cannot fault the service, ambience, venue, view, wine or food. It was all amazing.
