I visited At Mark's bar at Hazendal Wine Estate today. What a fabulous experience I had. Staff were all amazing, super friendly and went out of their way to make my day there a memorable one. Compliments to the chef for my delicious butter chicken pizza. Cappuccino was simply the best. Service was excellent. It was such a beautiful serene setting sitting outside in the sunshine. Grounds and gardens are well maintained. What a magic day. Thanks to all the amazing staff. I will definitely be visiting there again soon.

The revamp of this wine farm has been done really well. I spent the day working from Marks and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, and the food and coffee were just as good. I do miss the old deli, though—it had a more relaxed and cozy seating area. Before leaving, I took some time to explore the grounds, and they were absolutely beautiful. The gardens are well maintained.

Hazendal is pure magic. The striking white architecture, perfectly framed by water and mountains (just like in my photo), makes you feel like you’ve stepped into art,Aaahhh this place is a true diamond. Beautiful, serene, and unforgettable. A must-visit. ✨🍷with family, friends -you name it. Also people forget to take a look at their awesome vintage collection of cars on display as you walk into the entrance.I know I was blown away because as a future Bentley owner, It was quite lovely to see how the models have changed over the years,ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.

Fantastic hotel and resort. We had a very pleasant arrival in the late evening. Everything was taken care off. The breakfast was lovely in a very quiet peaceful area in the garden. It was optional to have breakfast as well near the golf course, but we preferred the garden. Fresh fruits, great omelet and a mimosa to complete the breakfast. The pool area is in the middle of plants, herbs and flowers and the pool is large enough to go swimming laps. Also at this place you could order drinks and some lunch. Eventually we had a spa arrangement with a massage, which was delightful and they completed the experience with detox juices, fruits, herbs and a luxury changing room with everything you needed. Absolutely a recommendation for everyone who loves good and fresh food, wants to relax and likes nature.

Really relaxing stay at Hazendal. Staff are incredibly friendly - a little nervous at times - but very eager to do their best. Room was lovely and food was tasty. We were taken on a lovely tour of the grounds whilst the room was being prepared. The lounge had a wonderful atmosphere- some tasty bites and live jazz music. Great potential! Unfortunately not full stars as we thought there might be some room for improvement. We had a bit of a strange interaction with a waitress at the main restaurant who we had asked if she could bring a basket bread. She replied with an “Obviously” then proceeded to not bring any bread. She started to end the evening with a lot of sighing, huffing and puffing when we had dared to ask for the menu again for dessert. She replied with a strange comment and a bit of irritation - insisting we get the bill. I understand it was 9:30pm but as member of the hospitality industry myself, I thought it was quite strange and we felt quite hurried - a first in any restaurant from our experience. Another instance was upon setting the bill and leaving. We left a pair of glasses by the Padel courts and asked if Reception had seen anything or happened to have anything handed in by another guest/staff member. The lady on duty took huge offense for some reason - almost as if she assumed we had accused someone of stealing them which was not the case at all. Sadly, that ended our stay with a bit of confusion and irritation after having had a really lovely time.
