We had the most extraordinary lunch at Good to Gather yesterday. Would highly recommend. The food was phenomenal, the service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was gorgeous. Totally worth the trip out to Stellenbosch!

My husband and I had been wanting to visit Good To Gather for a very long time, and after many months we finally managed to secure a booking. The experience absolutely did not disappoint. Luke greeted each guest by name on arrival and personally presented every course at the table, which added such a lovely touch. His passion for his craft was evident throughout the entire experience. The setting beneath the oak trees was exquisite, and with only a few other tables around, it felt incredibly intimate and special. The food was also out of this world — you could tell that every single element had been thoughtfully considered and perfected. Definitely a 15/10 experience. Highly, highly recommend it!

A truly wonderful dining experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding, and the service was both attentive and genuinely warm. The sustainable approach, using fresh ingredients from the garden next door, is something really special and shines through in every dish. Each course was a real pleasure to eat. Highly recommended.

If you get a reservation, take it. Always booked out 4-5 months in advance my best tip is to mail or call on a late Monday in the week. That is where you might find they have a cancellation for the coning week(end). Jess (chef) and Luke (front of house) combine the exquisite quality of marrying the utmost quality of locally sourced ingredients with the atmosphere of that friends & family lunch you never forget. Down to earth. No fuss. Unforgettable food. Truly unforgettable food.

A must-visit in Stellenbosch, Good To Gather offers an extraordinary farm-to-table dining experience. The cozy yet sophisticated ambiance and attentive service set the perfect tone for an unforgettable meal. The food is exceptional, the cheese soufflés are a standout, light yet rich, and the slow-cooked shoulder of lamb is absolutely divine. The flavors are bold, fresh, and expertly balanced. And the desserts? Some of the best we've ever had, with each one being the perfect sweet ending to the meal. For an unforgettable dining experience that celebrates local produce and incredible flavors, Good To Gather is a must! Highly recommended!
