Interesting experience as we are in the wine industry and a joke 8 yrs ago when Craig met me he brought a bottled of Beyerskloof Pinotage and I teased him about the is not being my favourite varietal but over the years I have softened to the varietal and today was a final confirmation of now loving Pinotage, was hoping to taste Diesel but sold out. We had the oxtail ravioli and it was DELICIOUS , I have always driven past and said we need to make a stop there and today we happily did so😁

Our family enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day lunch at this establishment. The food was exceptional, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was perfectly cozy. We were also particularly impressed by the generous portion sizes. Highly recommended for any occasion

Such a great farm. Staff is also very friendly. The food is absolutely amazing and affordable. The wine tasting starts at R70 for 5 wines. We had the livers with risotto as a starter 10/10 and then we had the pork belly and the steak. The mash was so amazing wow 🥹 you will not go wrong with these food options. The garlic bread is also sooo good

Awesome Pinotage burgers but also pork belly and pizza to choose from. There wine is absolutely 💯 great, fresh easy drinking and the more serious wines have a wonderful balance of fruit and wood tannin.

The Wine Estate is a solid, easygoing stop if you’re in the area. The wines were good, and the overall experience to standard. Important distinction: this was not the restaurant experience. Restaurant bookings are essential, but the wine tasting side is relaxed and walk-ins are welcome, which makes it a convenient option if you haven’t planned ahead. The tasting room is casual, the staff friendly, and there’s no pressure or formality. Cool history note: Beyerskloof was founded by Beyers Truter, one of the key figures behind modern Pinotage, and the estate remains closely associated with championing South Africa’s signature red grape.
