I was so blessed on my birthday. We set out for a planned morning in Durban with my husband making breakfast bookings etc... Aum Namah Shivaya had better plans for us. We were stuck on the N3 for more than 2 hours and missed our bookings. My husband was disappointed....I just said to him everything happens for a reason. We then decided to take a road trip in search of a temple (it has become a tradition for us on our birthdays and wedding anniversary to go to a temple to get our blessings). We missed a few turns and found ourselves in Stanger....us being Shiva devotees I googled Shiva temple in Stanger and we found ourselves at this beautiful temple. I feel blessed beyond measure....I still cannot get over the vibration I felt at this temple. The Guru at the temple was so welcoming and also gave us the history of the temple and the unique story of the Lingum. Thank you Mahadev for guiding us to this Temple. We are blessed and look forward to visiting again soon. Har Har Mahadev

A temple serving the KwaDukuza community for many, many decades. Still maintains that aura of acceptance, warmth and elevating vibrations. I can attest to its mainstay due to attending as a seven-year-old child on Sundays, to being involved with school programs in the mid to late 1980s. As an adult male following its cultural and humanitarian offerings till today. A jewel in the legacy that is KwaDukuza, from then, today, tomorrow.
