No doubt scenery is stunning and wine is good, but the tasting experience wasn’t great - the presentation of the wine didn’t do justice to the wine and we waited a really long to be served. The lady who did the tasting spoke really quietly and was hard to understand
What an amazing experience at Chorus restaurant! Thanks Chef Basson. Your cooking is deserve a Michelin food star. Your cooking is just so wonderful. We love your place. Your staff is professional. And what about the view around the restaurant. It was our first time there but not the last.
Wine tasting - The scenery is stunning, no question at all. Cheeseboard with guava and quince jam was super delicious (especially guava was amazing, it is a must try, believe me!). We love the idea of organic farming and not using culture yeast at all, however the MCCs were not to my taste. We’ll be back and are planing to try the restaurant as well next time (the menu looks pretty good).
Beautiful spot with incredible views. We did their premium wine tasting which is great value for money and gives you a tasting of six wines. Their white wines are their strongest and very good because of the site. The reds a bit young for us. We did not do the lunch or cheese platter option but they really looked awesome 😎
Very professional wine tasting assistance, with top quality (Tim Atkin 90+) ratings for most of the wines. The setting is what puts this place over the top. In the same space as a fine dining restaurant with an open kitchen so you can see magic being created. Nice fireplace with premium blankets provided and the tastings are served in Riedel glasses. Very hard to fault anything. The view is exquisite.
