1.Receptionis was not visible on arrival. 2. Tablecloths has stainmarks on cutlery looked as if is was used the prebiouse meal. 3. Receptionist was the cook as well. She never asked me how I wanted my food. Sausage and bacon was very. 4. She wore the same clothes two days in a row. ( could be their uniform, but it did not look like it). 5. 3 Star ratings but nou 3 star service. 6. No soap in the bathrooms. 7. One night was one night too much. NEVER AGAIN SORRY.

I visited this place since 1991... Lot of changes since Thys left the place... I tried to again a few weeks back, but the tall manager / owner dont understand the value of regulars.... When I want to pay this guy do not know the machine. I have a policy of NOT giviing tips to owners / managers. Because he did not know how the paying device works - HE JUST ADDED 10% Now - I spend 10's of 1000 of Rands there.. Will not go there again... Most of my fellow regulars agree...

This place is run down and quite honestly a hovel. We booked a twin room for 1 night and were given a single room which had a stale musty smell. At checkin I questioned this and was told this was the room we were allocated. On our return from lunch at a winefarm we decided to rather drive home than spend a night at the lodge.

We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. Our room was a great size, and the shower was massive. Loved that there was a fan for the hot evening. The lodge itself is tastefully decorated and has a certain charm to it. It’s very centrally located but nicely set back from the main We appreciated Windhoek on tap at the pub, which was fantastic after a long trip.
