Zonnevanger Guesthouse Fantastic location with wonderful views Zonnevanger is located just outside Paarl & Wellington in the heart of the winelands. It is set up to handle weddings and functions but I was just staying over as a base to work in the area. I was able to gain access late in the day and the room was large with a tea/coffee station and a fridge and a large bathroom attached. Next morning was a public holiday but the property had arranged somebody to prepare breakfast and I was the only person that morning. It was a perfect start for an early day of work just down the road. The views across the valley early each morning as dawn was breaking were spectacular and the gardens and pool area must be wonderful in summer (I was there late June – winter in SA). There are a number of restaurants, wine estates close by and the location makes it perfect for exploring this area of the western cape.
