⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an exceptional experience at Zomerlust Boutique Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding and made our stay truly memorable. The rooms are beautifully appointed, incredibly comfortable, and offer the perfect balance of luxury and relaxation. The highlight of our visit, however, was dinner at SMEUL. Without question, it ranks among the finest restaurant experiences I’ve had, not only in South Africa but across all the countries I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to. Every dish was thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour. Chef Kevin and assistant Chef Nate are creating something truly special over the flames. It’s remarkable to see such excellence from such a young restaurant, and I have no doubt they’ll soon be celebrating their third plate. Their passion, creativity, and dedication shine through in every course. If you’re looking for an unforgettable stay paired with world-class dining, Zomerlust Boutique Hotel and Smeul should be at the very top of your list. I can’t wait to return!

Zomerlust Boutique Hotel is Paarl’s new gem and a true bucket-list destination! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm, professional, and attentive service. The owners’ genuine hospitality and personal touch made our stay feel truly special and memorable. We enjoyed an unforgettable evening, complemented by spectacular food at SMEUL and a beautifully appointed room with thoughtful amenities. What stood out most was the exceptional attention to detail—even my favourite champagne was waiting in our room on arrival, a personal touch that perfectly captured the warmth and care of the experience. Every detail was carefully considered, creating a luxurious and welcoming stay. A must-visit in Paarl—we will definitely be back!

Our stay at Zomerlust Boutique Hotel was exceptional from start to finish. What truly sets this beautiful property apart is the outstanding service. From the moment we arrived, the warm and professional “top hat” reception made us feel welcomed and valued, setting the tone for a memorable stay. The hotel’s location is ideal, offering easy access to the surrounding attractions while maintaining a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. Zomerlust’s rich heritage is evident throughout the property, with its beautifully preserved architecture and character creating a sense of timeless elegance. One of the highlights was the magnificent garden. Meticulously maintained, it provides a tranquil sanctuary where guests can unwind among mature trees, lush greenery, and charming heritage features. The culinary experience at Smeul was outstanding. Every dish from chef Kevin Grobler was thoughtfully prepared, showcasing quality ingredients, creativity, and superb execution. The combination of exceptional food, attentive service, and a wonderful ambiance made dining there a highlight of our visit. Zomerlust Boutique Hotel seamlessly combines heritage, hospitality, and contemporary comfort. We left feeling refreshed and thoroughly impressed, and we look forward to returning.

What an absolutely wonderful stay at the newly renovated Zomerlust Boutique Hotel in Paarl. Please check in at this local gem - you won't be sorry! New management, friendly staff and 5 star service! The hotel has been renovated and you won't make a mistake to spoil yourself here. You can see the love and passion for Zomerlust in every little detail and decor in the hotel. SMEUL restaurant is open to the public and the food and service are out of this world. Thank you for a lovely stay. x

My recent stay at Zomerlust Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. Under its new ownership, the property has been transformed into a truly world class destination, with every detail carefully considered and executed to perfection. From the moment I arrived, the level of service was remarkable. The staff welcomed me warmly and effortlessly handled everything from valet parking to delivering my luggage directly to my room. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The rooms have been meticulously and beautifully renovated, blending elegance, comfort, and modern luxury. Every space feels thoughtfully designed, creating an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and inviting. What truly sets Zomerlust apart is the incredible level of personalization. The attention to detail was extraordinary, from ensuring my preferred pillow softness to stocking the fridge with my preferred type of milk. It is rare to experience a hotel that takes such care in understanding and anticipating its guests' needs. No stay would be complete without dinner at Smeul Restaurant. The dining experience was outstanding, and the steak was simply out of this world, perfectly prepared and undoubtedly one of the highlights of my visit. The new ownership team has exceeded all expectations, elevating Zomerlust into a destination that delivers luxury, comfort, and genuine hospitality in equal measure. I cannot recommend it highly enough and look forward to returning again soon.
