About

Karoo Craft Breweries is a brewery in Paarl operating since 2016 from Simonsvlei Winery. We craft a core range of six unique beers: The Kudu Lager, The Rhino LITE Lager, The Oryx Weiss, The Impala American Pale Ale, The Jackal IPA, and The Ram Stout. Our Head Brewer also creates seasonal small-batch brews available on tap at our taproom. We offer food from Bennies Bistro, featuring wood-fired pizzas, burgers, salads, and smoked Brazilian pork ribs.

Such a wholesome meal… Loaded Fries! And the Chef, Hennie has informed us, that he has a special recipe for his Loaded fries. The brisket was juicy and tender the sauce and cheese coated the, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, fries. Hennie…. You have officially ruined all other food for me 😉

Great beer! Yummy pizza and wine. Kids area is fun. The water sprayers were a winner in the heat. Although the place was busy, we were served quickly and efficiently. Will definitely be back! Thank you for making a family day out special.

I had an excellent visit to the renovated brewery and taproom. There is ample seating both inside and outside. The views around the brewery are stunning to look at whilst you drink their wonderful selection of craft beers. An extensive food menu completes the experience perfectly. The location is ideal with easy access from the N1 it is an easy drive from Cape Town.

Average draft beer experience compared to other big and even smaller fine craft breweries. Setting is more for a pub and grub and sports bar type, but great for social gatherings. The beer isnt bad but you can drink it. Nothing too special for my taste buds.

well - the beer is amazingly good (especiall the stout and the wheat beer - but this is of course individually). the location is super cool because you have a lot of parking spaces and its near the N1 to Worceister and N2 to Capetown). But the location for itself is not so lekker. almost empty. the kind of ‚charm‘ is missing a lot. the food is not so good. overall - uncut diamond with great potential and super delicious beer
