Letter of Appreciation To the Staff and Management of Du Kloof Lodge, We would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation for the wonderful hosting and accommodation during my husband, Mr Gordon’s birthday celebration on 22 May 2026. From the moment we arrived, we experienced your warm welcome, kindness, and excellent hospitality. Your beautiful venue created an atmosphere where we could truly relax, unwind, and enjoy every moment with family and loved ones. In a time where daily life in our country brings so much stress and hardship, Du Kloof gave us the opportunity to switch off from our challenges and simply enjoy peace, rest, and happiness. Du Kloof Lodge is always a favourite of the Super Stay.io team. we regularly recommend our clients go here and we personally, both individually and as a team, love fishing here and joining expeditions with our clients. I can highly recommend a trip or a stay at Du Kloof! The trout fishing is amazing.

I recently celebrated my wedding at Du Kloof Lodge. I stayed in luxury room 1. The food was AMAZING from my canapés to my dessert. I cannot fault any of the beverages or food that we served. I would recommend. The views were perfect. Very beautiful outlook from the patio. However, the luxury room had hot water for about 5 minutes and thereafter the water pressure decreased as well. But not even that could out a damper on my experience. I know that the other rooms such as the deck rooms and executive house didn’t have water temperature and pressure problems, according to my guests. Thank you Du Kloof Lodge, you will definitely be on my “Have to visit again” list.

We had our wedding at Du Kloof Lodge in Paarl, and I can honestly say it was everything we dreamed of and more. From the very beginning, the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. They were willing to assist with the room layout until it matched exactly what we had envisioned, and there was truly nothing too big to ask. Every request was met with a smile and a “we’ll make it happen.” That level of willingness and calm support made such a difference in the lead-up to the wedding. A special thank you to Christiaan and Terence, the venue coordinators, who made the entire process feel effortless. They gave us the freedom to bring our vision to life while still being present, supportive, and ready to step in whenever needed. It really felt like we had a team who cared just as much about the outcome as we did. The food was absolutely lovely, so much so that many of our guests are still talking about it! It’s one thing for a couple to enjoy their wedding meal, but when your guests rave about it too, you know it was something special. Our room was stunning, with a breathtaking view that made the whole experience feel even more magical. Our room was clean, neat, and beautifully maintained, from the bathrooms and toilets to the finer details in the room itself. And in true Paarl fashion, the air conditioning was an unsung hero, keeping us cool and comfortable in the heat! Even the included breakfast the next morning was delicious (and their French toast is genuinely epic). If you’re looking for a venue with beautiful scenery, incredible staff, delicious food, and a team that truly gives you the space to create your dream day while supporting you every step of the way, Du Kloof Lodge is it. We are so grateful we chose them for such an important day in our lives.

We recently came to visit for the weekend for a Wedding and I must say the venue surprised me. The road noise is really not noticeable, the views are spectacular, the rooms were cleaned daily and the staff were fantastic. Attached is 2 of the 3 complimentary breakfast options and they were fresh and delicious. The only thing that I can comment on is the maintenance of the property, there are some water damage, the deck stairs were broken, our shower cold tap was not working, and a lick of paint here and there is needed. The venue just needs to maintain the property a bit better. This is really a place that I will recommend again. We stayed in a deck room, with an aircon that blows ice cold. We will definitely come stay again.
