What a beautiful, secluded and tranquil little retreat. The host was so lovely; friendly and very welcoming. The place is clean and very cute. It was our first glamping experience, and we don’t like camping, but this was exceptional. Love it and will absolutely do it again. Thank you Patatsfontein❤️ You are highly recommended. We had a very special wedding anniversary!

We had the privilege of having a midweek break away at Patatsfontein in March and let me say, if you ever get the opportunity to visit or stay at this piece of heaven, grab it with both hands! From the scenic drive to the venue, to the tranquil surroundings of the property, it was simply food for the soul. Even though I knew what to expect from the pictures I've seen, seeing it in person still took my breath away. It's the perfect balance between the outdoors and luxury. The tent is so spacious and beautifully decorated, with so much attention to detail. The bed is very comfortable and the electric blanket was the perfect touch when it became a bit chilly. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need to prepare your meals. The bathroom is very spacious and the bathtub is definitely the star of the show. The only downside to our stay is that we didn't get a chance to use it because we were absolutely obsessed with the hot tub! And let me tell you about the hot tub. IT WAS MARVELOUS!! We spent both evenings /early morning hours in that glorious hot tub. Be warned that the water does get very hot but fortunately there is a handy cold water tap. Being under the stars in the heavenly hot tub surrounded by the tranquility of nature is simply breathtaking. We ended of our stay with a refreshing outdoor shower which was so invigorating. Such a perfect balance between the open outdoors and privacy. The braai facilities were excellent and well equipped. The ample supply of wood was much appreciated. There are not enough words to describe this magnificent place. A huge thank you to our lovely host for the warm welcome and "rescuing" us when we lost our way lol

This Heavenly Retreat That Left Us Breathless! We spent an unforgettable night at Patatsfontein Stay, and we can't stop raving about this hidden gem! It was our first time traveling to Cape Town and we stayed at two other accommodations to take in the sights, but never like this one and WOW!! The experience was nothing short of phenomenal, and we regret only staying for one night - a minimum of four nights is essential to fully appreciate the breathtaking beauty that surrounds this haven. (MY PHOTOS DO NOT DO THE VIEWS JUSTICE) Perched amidst stunning, massive mountains and nature, the unmatched views took our breath away. The vibrant bird life was an added delight, creating a symphony of sounds that serenaded us throughout our stay. As for security, we felt completely safe and at ease with breathtaking star light, untouched by the distant cities light pollution. The absolute peace and quiet was a balm to our souls, and the luxurious comforts didn't hurt either! Our tent was impeccably equipped with everything we needed, and the attention to detail was impressive, they are also extremely spacious! The outdoor hot tub and outdoor shower were absolute highlights - don't miss out on these! The mountains surround you on all sides! The views were mesmerizing, and we couldn't get enough of them. The furniture and bed in our Oak treehouse were top-class, exuding comfort, charm, and elegance that surpassed any other place we've stayed. Our host was incredibly accommodating, warm, and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Their exceptional hospitality added to the magic of our stay and was 5 🌟 If you're seeking a tranquil retreat with jaw-dropping views, look no further, this place is a must-visit destination.
