A lovely peaceful place to stop for lunch, with some very well executed but simple dishes. Everything is made well, down to the tomato sauce on the table. Plenty of space for kids to run around on the grass lawn.

Thank you for the massive fire you had going on a storming, pouring down winters day! THE BEST COFFEE IN TOWN☕️ Really nice breakfast, freshly baked bread with proper salted butter and then the thick cut bacon😍😍 Dont forget the, best vark boerewors at the delli!

Visited Ludwig Rose Garden first, what a lovely experience. They gave a talk about caring and pruning of roses. Staff very knowledgeable and experience and super friendly. Afterwards went for lunch at Joostenberg Bistro. Menu very limited but food was delicious and service and atmosphere were great. There is a picnic area where the kids can play as well a a farm house stocked with groceries, delicious breads and other pastries, meat, biltong... just too many too many. Worth a drive from Cape Town and spent the morning from 10 to about 3 . A lovely day outing. Definitely going back... btw .....meat free range

Beautifull, relaxing and overall great place. The service was quick and friendly and they have an amazing lunch and dessert menu. Fresh and home made. An absolute delight.

Delicious breakfast, great service, and the most peaceful setting. Everything came out perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. It’s the kind of place where you plan to “just grab a quick bite” and end up staying long enough to consider moving in.
