I’m not really a beer drinker but visited this brewery while waiting for the local distillery to open. Pleasant atmosphere with inside and outside seating and rustic style decor. Pleasant young man serving and he suggested the pale ale which was quite pleasant. Very pleasant, relaxing background instrumental music 🎶

Urban Brewing Company in Hout Bay is a must-visit for craft beer lovers! The beer selection is fantastic – truly top-notch. The atmosphere of the place is also great, very inviting and laid-back. I had a really interesting conversation with the bartender about the rising popularity of non-alcoholic craft beers in Europe, which was a nice bonus. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Being a beer lover, I was very surprised to find this craft brewery hidden away in the Hout Bay Harbour. It is very small and can easily be missed, but definitely worth a visit. They have indoor and outdoor seating options and a nice selection of beers including ales, weisbeers, pilsners and stouts. The brewery's art style is very industrial and edgy, with the same style found in the design of their labels which I really liked. We decided to do a tasting and everyone in the group found a beer they enjoyed. It is also good to note that the staff were friendly and helpful which is always the cherry on top.
