Restless River Wines is a winery in Hermanus producing cool-climate, single vineyard expressions of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon. We are a family-owned and run wine estate in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. Our wines, including Ava Marie Chardonnay and Le Luc Pinot Noir, are grown and made with respect for the land and the people who work it daily. We invest in the land and our team, focusing on excellence from soil to winery. We specialize in wines from specific vineyards like Ava Marie, Le Luc, Dignity, and Clouds End, with a commitment to minimal intervention in their production.

Such a great story for the family. Tasting experience was so personal and educational. The wines were fantastic and the property is just outstanding. The dog Hunter is the best mascot!

Anne is an absolute gem and we feel so lucky that she and her family shared their gorgeous wines with us. Their property truly is a heaven on earth, topped only by their excellent, elegant wines. We especially loved their Le Luc!

Absolutely fantastic tasting experience here! The Ava Marie and Le Luc are among the best examples of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that you will find in South Africa. Small production, minimal intervention, astute attention to every detail. Incredible property and wonderful tasting with Anne, Luc, and Hunter the Rhodesian Ridgeback.
