Wow wow and wow!!! Myself and my boyfriend visited Orangerie at Le Lude this past weekend and we both agreed that we haven’t received such amazing service in ages. The food was honestly top notch, the quality and flavour was outstanding. Highly recommend the burrata and the mushroom tortellini (I’m vegetarian). But what made it so special was Tian, you can see his passion for what he does so effortlessly. He treated us to a tour around the cellar explaining the process of cap classique and the traditional process they use here that some farms in Champagne don’t even use anymore. We loved it so much we came back the next day!!! Truly a must visit.

Really beautiful restaurant worth a visit while you’re in Franschoek. We had the bubbles which were lovely. The starters were all delicious but the mains were less impressive. Friendly / helpful service as well.

What an incredible experience from start to finish. The drive through the vineyards to the tree-lined estate sets the perfect mood. We spent a gorgeous afternoon under the trees with some of the best service I’ve encountered. The staff really knows their craft! The highlight? The bubbly. It’s world-class (watch out, France!). The food was the definition of "heart-warming"—local, intentional, and perfectly executed without any of the confusing fluff you see at other high-end spots. Already counting down the days until my next visit.

What a stunning estate. I went their with friends for an easy champagne tasting. Didn’t make a reservation and service staff was very helpful with seating us. Tasting was informative and bubbly definitely one of the best around in the WP. Love they rosé bubbly. Good price for an outstanding quality. Next time we’ll book a table at the Orangerie as it looked very inviting and charming.

A must for anyone wanting a memorable dining experience in Franschhoek! We were so thrilled when Cameron got us a table last minute, he is an absolute gem! Everything exceeded all expectations and the service was top-notch!! We got the pork belly & fillet steak and would highly recommend (we also tried the seafood starter and wow !!). The venue is so romantic and dreamy and we can’t WAIT to come back! Edmund was such a gracious host and our waiter couldn’t have done more for us! Thank you!! It simply doesn’t get better than this! ❤️
