If you’re looking for a great place to stay in Franschhoek, Fleur du Soleil is exactly the right choice. Although the weather during our stay was rainy and cold, the hospitality was all the more warm and heartfelt. The room was spacious and beautifully furnished, with a large, modern bathroom and a small welcome gift. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. There was a wide selection of breakfast dishes, as well as additional options like fruit, yogurt, and juice. Parking is available. We would gladly come back anytime. Kind regards, Nora and Emanuel

The location is in walking distance to all major spots and restaurants and cafes. It’s in a residential area with lots of barking dogs nearby. The property is really tiny and you are extremely close to the neighbours. Currently there is a renovation going on directly (3-5m next to the rooms and don’t expect any quietness and relaxation right now. They didn’t warn us before we got there! The interior is very modern, cold and doesn’t give you the typical Franschhoek vibes. The interior is very cold and modern. Everything is provided , from mini bar, to snacks and drinks, aircon, fan, towels, shower gel etc. The staff were utterly friendly. We didn’t have breakfast because it was sooo loud due to renovation next door and because they turn the tiny reception area in a mini breakfast „room“ and the you have breakfast at the entrance area. Very weird for a 5 star accommodation. I truly do not understand all the brilliant ratings they got. It’s a good accommodation but definitely not outstanding and I was in a lot of 5 stars guesthouse/hotels. There are many other nicer and quieter places to stay in Franschhoek.

We stayed at Fleur du Soleil in March 2026 for 3 nights in the lovely Sunflower Room. The room was very large with a comfortable king size bed, a very large bathroom with separate vanities with sinks, private toilet, separate shower and soaker tub. We were greeted by Wendy on arrival with a chilled glass of bubbles and a warm smile. We received good advice on the restaurants and shopping in the area and settled into our room quickly. During delicious breakfast we met the owner, Victoria, who gave us a lot of advice on Franshhoek. She was very helpful and helped to arrange car transport to restaurants out of the main town. Big thank you to the whole staff at Fleur du Soleil for the extra care and attention we received during our stay. An extra special thank you to Wendy for her kindness.

An open armed welcome greeted us on our arrival. Both Victoria and Wendy were very accommodating and happy to advise on all things required. Wonderful room preferred for us. We stayed in the Bougenvillia suite which was clean and sparkling. A mixture of modern and welcoming. The location is a 5 minutes walk to the main road through Franschhoek, which is wonderful in itself. It offers both restful and busy at the same time. Breakfast is an event in itself, with so much options on offer. You think you have to choose but you can eat from every course offered. Not sure you would require food until the following days breakfast if you chose to do this!. Wonderful place, wonderful staff. Can think of anywhere else to stay if I returned again. Thank you all for a great stay.

We had a lovely stay at Le Fleur B&B. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel completely at home, with the team being so warm and welcoming. We arrived later than planned due to unforeseen circumstances, and the team couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating, which we appreciated. The rooms were all comfortable, peaceful, and tastefully decorated creating the perfect place to relax. Every member of the team was friendly and always willing to offer help or suggestions, and it was such a nice touch that they very quickly knew us all by name, along with our preferences for breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast that set us up perfectly for the day. The B&B is set in a lovely neighbourhood, just a short walk from the main street, with a good selection of restaurants, cafes bars and shops, with some wineries also within walking distance, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. The whole experience made for a thoroughly enjoyable stay from start to finish. Thanks again for such a great stay.
